ASI FrontDesk 5.1.0 Quick Start Guide

Guest Ledger is a compact tool that allows all sorts of Guest operations from one central location. It is an alternative approach to quickly perform many operations in a quick succession. To open Guest Ledger, click on Tools Menu and select Guest Ledger. This option is also available from tool bar menu of Guest Info button.

The Guest Ledger form has four tabs, namely "In House Guests", "Guests to Check Out", "Guests Checked Out" and "Reservation".

In House Guests
This tab will show all guests currently in the hotel. This includes guests that are suppose to check out but have not yet checked out.

Guests to Check Out
This tab will show all guests that are expected to check out right now.

Guest Checked Out
This tab will show all Guests that have checked out during the current day.

Reservation
This tab will show all reservations for today.

Guest Ledger Operations
Select a guest name in any of the tabs. You will see the Room Information form (Folio). and you can perform the appropriate action on this room, such as check-in, check-out, etc.

More information on guest can be obtained by using the Right Mouse Click on the guest name. The following menu will be displayed.

Click on each of this menu item is described below...

Room Information
Click on this menu item will bring up the Room Information form for the guest in appropriate state. From this form you may elect to perform any operation on the guest, such as collecting money, check out, updating information, etc.

Guest Information
Click on this menu item brings up the guest information from guest database. Changes to guest record can be done from here.

Guest Check In History
Click on this menu item will display the history of the guest frequenting your hotel. Each of the visits and information about that visit can be obtained from the form that will be displayed.

Amount Paid Details
This brings up the details of the amounts the guest has paid for his current visit. This is the same form that is displayed from the Room Information form.

Other Charges Details
This brings up the details of the all other non rental charges the guest has incurred while his stay at your hotel. This is the same form that is displayed from the Room Information form.
