ASI FrontDesk 5.1.0 Quick Start Guide

By default, the system allows for Driver License, Passport and State ID as allowable forms of identification. You may select to add additional forms of identification allowed at your hotel. For example, you may wish to add "Military ID".

Note: Accepting these forms of Identification is optional process when renting a room to guests. It is the responsibility of the desk clerk to adhere to the Hotel policy on checking ID for rental of rooms to guests.

Click on Configuration menu item. Select Identification Types menu item.

Add
Click on Add.

Type in identification type name, click on OK. Repeat the process for all other forms of identification you wish to accept.

Once done adding all identification types, click on OK on the Identification Types form.

Update
Select the identification type you wish to edit or update. Change the Identification Type and click on Update button. Note that the built in values, Driver License, Passport and State ID cannot be updated.

Delete
Select the identification type you wish to delete. Make sure the check box is marked. Click on the Delete button. Note that the built in values, Driver License, Passport and State ID cannot be deleted.
