In
any hotel there may exist more than one room type. The rooms may be
distinguished from one another through the facilities available in them
and the charges may differ depending on the room type. Therefore
software enables you to configure various room types. You can add
unlimited number of room types. You can also visually distinguish the
rooms by setting the color for each room type. Follow the steps below to
configure the room types.
- From the
Rooms menu select the Room Types. The Room Types
form gets displayed.
- Click Add
or hit Enter. The Add Room Type form gets displayed.
- Enter the
Room type. It can be alphanumeric and should not exceed 35
characters. Remember characters such as #, % , ’ , ” are not
allowed.
- If you want
to set the color to room types, click on color box. The Color
form gets displayed. Select the required color and click on OK.
- Select the Maximum Adults and the
Maximum Children that can be occupied in that room.
- Click OK
when done.
- Repeat the
steps 2 to 4 for adding more room types.
- Click OK on
Room Types when finished entering all the room types.
