Hardware Support Specialist

Key Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of hardware components, computer systems, and peripherals.
• Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting and configuring devices.
• Hardware Installation: Experience in setting up and installing hardware devices such as credit card machines, ID scanners, and sign pads.
• Device Configuration: Ability to configure and integrate hardware devices with Windows computers, ensuring proper functionality.
• Troubleshooting: Skill in diagnosing and resolving hardware-related issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure credit card terminals and other hardware devices for Hotel Motel software clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware devices
• Coordinate with the H/w Company team to resolve technical issues, If required.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, Hotel Motel software clients, and external vendors
• Maintain accurate documentation of all hardware-related issues and resolutions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hardware Support Specialist or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
• Must be ready to work in rotational/night shifts
