We recently had some fire damage, our insurance company asked us to prepare some data for business loss. We have been using ASI FrontDesk for some time now. "Excellent value for small-to-medium-sized motels/hotels"
I have installed this software for a client -- a small, independent motel in a medium-to-large market in California. Though it is not (yet) a complete hospitality management system with front-of-house and back-of-house modules for all departments, it most definitely handles front desk activities and certain back-office operations quite well. It's easy to install; easy to configure and get started with; and front desk personnel seem to catch-on quickly to the no-nonsense, fairly intuitive user interface. And it seems plenty fast, as database applications go. I also like the fact that it's a fairly mature product -- version 5.0. But I was (and remain, at this writing) a little bit disappointed that a true multi-user version is not available. However, I'm told that version 5.1 (scheduled for release in 4Q 2002) will have that feature -- and my client is looking forward to that. Customer support is excellent. email support messages are answered quickly. And though one must occasionally leave a message in voicemail if one uses the telephone for support, calls are returned quickly and support personnel are always very knowledgeable. For independently-owned motels and hotels with 200 rooms or less (or for chain franchises of that size, and wherein the chain does not require that a certain front desk application be used) this is an ideal solution for front desk and certain back-office needs. It keeps track of just about everything front desk personnel and management could possibly need to know about guests and the rooms they occupy. It tracks pretty much every aspect of income, generally. And it prepares meaningful reports for daily, weekly and monthly management and accounting purposes. And it even has some limited but nevertheless useful expense tracking capabilities that, despite their limited nature, help to simplify the work that one's accountant must do. It's really a quite nice little system -- surprisingly so, actually. It's comprehensive insofar as front desk and many back-office functions are concerned, it's well-supported, and it's pretty much priced right. I recommend it."
The check in process in this hotel software is so easy that any operator can get accustomed in minutes. In just less then 5 minutes, I can train someone to use the system.
My name is Mahesh Bhakta I have been using Anand System Inc. check in system since 2006. The software is excellent and it helps me keep my motel reports in order. A few months my computer crashed since i was out of the country i was not able to print out my monthly reports for several months back. I then found out that my hard drive was not working as well. I first went to Office Depot and they ran some test and were unable to recover anything. Then they suggested that i go to Best Buy to the geek squad. Geek Squad said that they could not recover anything from the hard drive and they said it solely based on their observation. They did not run any tests or anything. I believe Geek Squad employees are not well trained and educated in their field. I then went to Fry's Electronics and they were also unable to recover anything. I have a friend that also uses this software so he advised me to contact Anand Systems Inc. directly and tell them about my problem.
I then called Anand System Inc. and I spoke to Bhavesh and explained him the issue i was having with my hard drive and understood what the problem was and he told me to send the hard drive in and he will try his best to retrieve the documents and programs from the hard drive. Days after they received the hard drive Bhavesh called me and told me that they have retrieved the documents and programs from the hard drive. This was good news because those documents were important to me. Bhavesh's customer service was beyond excellence.
